slavery indeed.

Insulting isn't the first word that comes to mind, but it's certainly the most tame.

Worse however, is that I must concede and modify my attire to make this ridiculous collar look less as such. I feel significantly less comfortable without my vest, though I'm certainly cooler. It does have a tendency to get very warm wearing it. I may be tempted to forego the shirt entirely, especially if Reno requests me to do menial labor. Musn't dirty the cuffs, you see.

This collar is heavy, in many interpretations of the phrase.

Apologies for not looking ecstatic.

amestris.

I find myself amazed at the levels of technology that world beheld. Still, there were many similarities between Ivalice and Amestris, an almost uncomfortable level. Though the society differed immensely, or so it seemed in the limited time I had to explore, it's technological prowess was very similar. Though alchemy is hardly as explored in Ivalice, it's still a fairly dominant source of research.

Unfortunately I never managed to gather any information about this ship. It appears that it's just as unknown to the people of Amestris as it is to everyone else. A disappointing factor.

Anyone care to report their findings to me should they have any?

Out of the vast majority of people I've met on this incredibly mysterious vessel, only one has been of some aid to me. Even then, still not much due to everyone's lack of knowledge on the situation. Can't exactly blame them though, the consequences surrounding aren't exactly forgiving to those curious.

Amestris, this world we're docking at, I asked truthed about it, as he was the one requested it as our next destination. Contemplating the existance of worlds outside Ivalice isn't particularly easy to wrap one's mind around. My father would be frothing at the mouth to explore such a thing.

In my other thoughts, I would hope someone shed light onto anything concerning this ordeal soon. For starters, these faceless servants, I'm sure I'm not the only one who is perturbed by their appearance.

Hnn. This is rather odd. I seem to be on a ship that isn't my own. Fran isn't around either. Very inconvenient, that. Her nose would come in handy here. Suppose I should have a look around, get my bearings and all that.
